Ok, so this student, Adam … came to Medicine Wheel. Upon completing the program he began his vision quest. When I picked him up, Adam told me an incredible story.

He left the group in the early afternoon and began hiking to the destination programmed into his GPS Unit. After hiking for about an hour, Adam sat down to take a break and sip some water. While sitting there a coyote emerged from the trees behind him. Neither the coyote nor Adam was scared. In fact, Adam had the where-with-all to grab his disposable camera and take a couple of the pictures. When he told the story of how a Coyote passed within 10-15 feet of him I thought….yeah right…a coyote passing that close during the middle of the day. A few days after returning home, Adam emailed these pictures. Though the lens was dirty, these are some great shots. How cool is it that his earth name is Smiling Coyote Breaths.
